Job Description • Assume revenue and market share responsibility for KOREA markets. Develop and
implement growth strategies and market-specific short- and long-term strategic plans, functional objectives, annual operating plan (AOP) and budget.
• Optimize business and market opportunities working closely with the APAC VP, through driving market-specific growth initiatives, faster decision making, and better integration across KOREA.
• Demonstrate talent management leadership, ensuring company recruits and develops the best talent, and build strong leadership pipelines at all levels.
• Through the senior sales leadership team, ensure effective and efficient territory coverage is realized. Regularly segment the sales territories to identify potential areas for growth, in conjunction with local country teams
• Develop and cultivate relationships with key decision/opinion makers. Assess market needs, follow trends in the business and anticipate future developments.
• Partner with regional and country RA leadership teams and SBU to ensure timely and high-quality product submission and reimbursement.
• Drive cross business strategies, leveraging the value of the breadth of the Product portfolio
• Key account strategies to promote product wide partnerships and contracting across all of our key accounts
• Drive Products Synergy and the penetration of our low share installed base.
• Form relationships with current and future Key Opinion Leaders for each therapy in the portfolio to enh ance understanding of customer requirements and market potential.
• Leverage skills, therapy understanding and belief in market development concepts and opportunities through the sales force using effective coaching techniques.
• Develop leadership and technical bench strengths to ensure there are at least two credible successors for every critical position in the KOREA organisation.
• Coach and manage the performance of each member ofteam, providing clear goals and direction.
Job Requirement • Requires Baccalaureate degree and minimum or 10 years of relevant sales experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant sales and leadership experience
• Preferred degree in Business Management or related discipline with 10+ years Sales/Marketing Management experience from within the Medical Devices/ Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical Industry.
• 10 years people management experience preferably with establishing & motivating cross-functional teams
• Demonstrable track record developing Business Plans, goal setting and team building
• Proven track record of managing stakeholder relationships across a matrix organization
• Proven ability to achieve superior results in rapidly changing business environment
• Strong strategic marketing and market segmentation skills to determine optimum ROI of resource investments
• Experience in driving a new service or product concept through an accelerated adoption sequence
• Successful experience in new market development strategies and penetration
• Proven leadership in business optimization and strong results orientation
• Highly developed people management skills - ability to lead, manage and motivate by example
• Understanding of health care system requirements (outcomes research, cost, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability build strategic alliances/relationship with organisational decision makers (internal/external) & communicate concepts with key influencers
• Strong presentation skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to communicates with ease at different levels of hierarchy and highly developed communication and influencing skills and a strong negotiator
• Well organised, quick thinker, entrepreneurial outlook, creative and aptitude for technology
• Responds to deadlines and priorities
• Assertive, confident, resilient, persistent and confident
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive
